When I search the term “chiropractic blog” in Google, I only show around 5,000 matches. When you realize that most of them are probably talking about a chiropractic blog, and are not actually a chiropractic blog, you quickly realize what a rare animal it is.
One of our newer patients Betsy who was referred to us from UCSD medical school, has been gushing so much about chiropractic and asking how she could help spread the word that I gave her a chiropractic blog on our site.
Here is the beginning of her health care adventure.
What makes the whole thing even more thrilling is Betsy’s era. I will simply give you one of Betsy’s own quotes from her blog, “I was really surprised when she said there are only a few “geezers†like myself.”
To be honest, I am 43 and most people my age don’t have myspace or facebook pages, and barely even understand what a blog is. In the Geezer catagory, you won’t find too many bloggers, and especially not about chiropractic.
I am finding it very interesting to read the same story I live in from her perspective. This whole blog thing is very new to her, so if you stop by, please leave a comment. I am sure she will be thrilled.
Regarding the Google rankings, I’m surprised your blog doesn’t come up higher, Doc! You had better watch out; it looks like Betty is a pretty prolific writer, she might get more hits than you.
I sense a little blog competition starting soon…
I’d say it’s about time for a little competition. Speaking of which, you don’t seem to have posted this month yet. You may not make the rankings at that rate 🙂
Betsy’s “moist” recent blogs about her maggots are hilarious and belong on Saturday Night Live or something. What an advertisement for you!!!
Of course I am totally unbiased being a friend for almost 40 years.
Wow! I wish my patients would blog and boast about their Chiropractor. You must be doing something right over there.
Camarillo Chiropractor
Inspiring one! Thanks a lot for sharing 🙂
Chiro blogs are so inspiring. I love learning more about how chiropractic care is helping people worldwide.
Great posts. We all need more patients like Betsy!
While many patients visit us when they are in pain, everyone can benefit from preventative care. Prevention leads to optimal health and allows our patients to enjoy the lifestyle they choose rather than having their health conditions make the choice for them!
I know what you mean about being a “geezer”. I am just getting my blog up now. It is time to step up my game or be left in the dust of the younger generation!
How in the world did you get a client to blog about you? That means you made an incredible impression and I don’t care what profession you are in – that is something spectacular.
