My name is Kether, I am 21 years old and this is my miracle.

Before responding to a job posting I went about my every day live in chronic pain, but I had forgotten what it felt like to move, to really move. It was if I were stuck in a body of a 60 year old. Which may be fine for the average couch potato but that’s not me.

I am an athlete! I’ve been riding horses since I was 7, I swam as a child and for my high school, and I was also a soccer goalie. I played soccer year round for 8 years straight, except during the swim season in the spring. I played club, high school and college soccer.

My body took daily abuse, running, training, throwing my self to the ground to make saves, and plowing into other players to get the ball. We practiced at game level intensity 5 days a week.

My last real game was two years ago. I decided to leave soccer because my enjoyment no longer out weighed the pain of daily abuse.

I still had a desire to be active so I enrolled in gymnastics for fun at school. But this last fall, 2006, I couldn’t do that any more. No mater how much I stretched I couldn’t make my body do the moves I wanted to. My hips became a source of daily agony.

I could no longer bound up stairs two at a time, my legs had very limited range of motion.

I had been to a Chiropractor before and knew of the potential relief it could give me. My Dr. before saw me periodically; but my hip problem always came back and due to the high cost of visits I only went when the pain was unbearable, which was not often due to my high pain tolerance.

How ever I am currently out of work and out of “credits” with my other Dr. so I have been suffering daily for months without hope until the posting of a job caught my attention. It was for Dr. Klein’s office.

I did not get the job but I was offered a free visit. I told Dr. Klein and staff my story and they were willing to help me and work with my financial situation.

Today is one week from the day I first met Dr. Klein and his wonderful staff. I am happy to say I can move again. I was adjusted twice and after both, I ran!

Dr. Klein asked me how I felt and I cried. “I can MOVE! I can actually move my legs!

I don’t hurt anymore!” I wept in his office, I felt free! Dr. Klein changed my life, before I met them I had given up hope of being capable of playing sports.

I can’t wait to start running and being active again.
